Home Visit Physiotherapy Services

Founding Principles:

Capital Community Physio believes patients should have their problems fully understood, as well as given the adequate time to help address their problems.

How is this achieved?

Treatment times are set longer than standard clinic appointments. Additionally treatment approach is adapted to the individuals pain presentation and baseline level of physical function. Furthermore, with an ability to travel to you, the home environment can be screened allowing identification of barriers and falls risks in cases concerning mobility problems.

What is provided?

Capital Community Physio brings over a decade of Physiotherapy practice to you, providing services across Edinburgh and the Lothians in a range of specialities including: joint and soft tissue pain; orthopaedic problems; neurological problems; and mobility/falls.

About Capital Community Physio:

Capital Community Physio was set up by Libby Hope in 2019. After initially qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2005, she has worked in a broad range of sectors including the NHS, private clinics, sports clubs and military. Some of the most clinically complex but equally rewarding experiences included working with those patients who had restricted mobility, multiple significant medical issues and chronic conditions. Capital Community Physiotherapy was set up specifically for these patient presentations who need experienced input, understanding and more time than typical clinic-based care provision.
